Getting started at Griffith University

Congratulations on your offer to study at Griffith University - we’re absolutely thrilled to have you join us! Get ready to dive into an exciting new chapter filled with fresh opportunities, new connections, and experiences that will shape your future. We can’t wait to support you as you kick off your journey and make your mark here at Griffith.

Securing your place

Very soon, you’ll receive your Starting@Griffith email. This includes your personalised link to set up and access your myGriffith account.

Once you've created your password and logged in, you can start your onboarding activities throug myOrientation, which you'll find on your myGriffith homepage.

If your offer is for a future trimester or teaching period, you might not be able to enrol just yet, but you can still complete your pre-enrolment questionnaire, order your Student ID card, and submit your USI.

To make sure everything is locked in, check out Accept your offer for your next steps.

Key Dates

Want to know when orientation starts or when enrolment opens? Visit the Academic Calendar for all your important trimester and teaching period dates, as well as when open enrolment commences for your intake.

Do I need to enrol to secure my place?

For some programs, yes – enrolling is part of confirming your spot.

Once your Starting@Griffith email arrives, check whether your program requires you to enrol (or complete other tasks) within a certain timeframe. If enrolment is required, make sure you enrol in at least one course before the deadline. If you don’t, your offer may lapse and might not be reinstated.

You can find the full list of programs with enrolment requirements at Accept your offer.
